Description:
European Single Shot Pistol. Very unusual mechanism. Barrel marked Michele J220. This pistol has no proof marks. The breech swings out for loading and ejecting. The ejector rod is on the right side of the frame and is captive or “fixed” to the frame. Barrel length is 6” and overall length is 10”. Caliber is approximately .44. Grips are rosewood with perfect checkering. The engraving is scrolls with a most unusual lightly punched dot pattern. Pistol has 98% blue. Note: The ejector acts as both ejector and when in battery position it locks into the frame to hold the swing out breech block in place. Really a very unique pistol.
