Description:
A very attractive, all original, and fully matching Mannlicher 1905 Commercial Pistol. SN: 7169 Cal: 7.65 Mannlicher. Standard configuration M1905 with 6.25 inch barrel having drift-adjustable front sight and fixed rear sight. Blowback, stripper fed single action pistol with top mounted ejection and manual hammer blocking safety mounted on right side of slide. Full serial number on barrel, repeated over chamber and on forward extension of side-plate, just ahead of the gripping serrations. Major components rust blued; hammer, trigger, and disassembly latch in-the-white. Removing side-plate shows all internal parts matched to the last two digits of the serial number. Serrated walnut grips with strawed grip screws.
Condition: Approximately 95% bright, original rust blue with scattered small patches and flecks of oxidation as carefully pictured. Comparable condition grips, each of the screws having been carefully restrawed. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. A very nice, original, and classic early automatic pistol whose total production was limited to about 10,000 examples. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
