Description:
All original and all matching SIG P49 with matte finish and original holster. SN: A148387. Cal: 9mmP. Standard configuration single action pistol with 4.75” barrel and drift adjustable front and rear sight. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detentes are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. No “P” release marking! Discreet import marks on bottom of frame where covered by magazine floorplate. Disassembly shows a matching hammer group with the usual half cock. Fitted with checkered black plastic grips, integral escutcheons, secured with a single transverse screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Complete with single matte finish magazine. Original holster, manufacturer marked and dated “69” on obverse surface, shoulder strap dated “65”.
Condition: Excellent original finish with minimal sharp edge/holster wear. No discernable wear on front strap. Comparable condition grips and VG+ magazine. Bright bore with strong rifling and perfect manual mechanics. VG holster and strap with supple leather, staining in usual areas, intact original stitching. No ownership markings inside lid. An extremely nice and all original Swiss Military P49, without deaccessioned markings, complete with holster. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!
