Description:
This is a near-mint example of a rare Police Mauser Luger rig from 1942. The pistol has all matching numbers, including one of the original magazines. It has about 97-98% of the original blue, with minor holster wear on the sideplate, bottom of front strap and rear frame. There were only about 20,000 Police Lugers produced with Eagle/L marking on receiver, and only ~5,550 with 1942 date. The original left grip panel is present but has a chip under the safety, and the right panel is mismatched. Right panel is also slightly loose due to being undersized, so we put in a temporary wedge to keep it from moving. Terrific bore. Rig includes an original E/63 tool and is completed by an excellent police holster with 1941 date.
