Description:
This one is a cherry. Absolutely untouched since approx 1976, when it was built. Been in a safe in a large collection that recently shook loose. You can see the front of the cylinder, where every other cylinder was fired for testing, which was what the factory did back then, 8 3/8" barrel. Never fired since. This is a time capsule of the quality firearms put out by S&W then. The nickel is like a mirror, as you can see in the pics. The Presentation case has been in the numbered cardboard box that it came in- for almost 44 years. Interior untouched as well, as the gun was kept separately in a soft case. All original paperwork and inserts are in there too. This one cannot be upgraded! Everything is mint, mint, mint. The checkering on the grips is sharp as the day they were installed.
