Description:
Remington Model 870 Magnum 12 Ga Shotgun with conversion kit. Includes set of 20” and 26” barrels and two sets of stocks – wooden and synthetic. Factory wooden stocks are constructed of beautifully figured walnut.
Also included are varying sized magazine extenders and springs which could be used for either barrel/stock configuration. Barrels and stocks can be interchanged within minutes using the special barrel tube tool seen as part of the the images above. This gun is in immaculate condition.Both barrels are Remington make and the ribbed two-beaded "26 barrel came with the original Model 870 frame and wooden stocks. The other parts including the synthetic stock are aftermarket but very well-made. I have not fired this gun since I purchased it from an individual in Houston back in the summer of 1999. Otherwise it looks as if the shotgun has had little if any field/range use given how clean it is inside and out. Date of the Model 870 proper is 1982. This outfit has been well-oiled and stored in one of my climate controlled gun safes since 1999 and I take it out along with my other long guns to 're-oil and inspect. This outfit makes for an affordable approach to essentially owning two smoothbores – A field/hunting gun and a wonderful home defense/tactical arm. Essentially two guns are included – One receiver but everything else in duplicate. You're basically getting two of the finest pump shotguns ever made not named Model 12 for $350 apiece.
