Description:
This is a Rare Colt pre-war Official Police with nickel finish, ivory grips, and checkered backstrap. It comes with a factory letter showing the nickel finish and a Colt factory work order number which can only be for the checkered backstrap. The gun shows being shipped in a one gun shipment to H & D Folsom Arms Company in New York on July 28, 1932. The finish is excellent and does not have any flaking or nickel loss. The action is perfect and the bore is excellent. The gun is chambered in the very desirable .32-20 chambering. The Colt medallion ivory grips have that golden color and are simply beautiful. The bottom shows one small are mark which is very common on ivory grips. The Colt factory box remains in very good condition. If you're looking for a rare one of a kind Colt this should fill that request. I offer a three day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
