Baker Gun & Forging Co. Paragon Grade 12 Gauge
Rare - hard to find Paragon grade that was made to special order only.
Engraved with two setters on left side and two ducks in flight on right side surrounded by scroll. There is a woodcock engraved on the trigger guard bow.
Double Barrel: 28 inch Damascus barrels which have retained most of their pattern.
Bores: Clean with no pitting, only some minor rivelling.
Condition:
The fore end lug appears to have been re-soldered, a common occurrence with Bakers. The full pistol grip stock measures 15 inches including a 1 inch recoil pad. The stock has a beautiful figure and has been professionally refinished with oil; the checkering is clean. There are no cracks in the stock. The receiver retains approximately 50% original case colors.
This is a great gun that you do not find in this condition very often.
