Description:
This is a 1964 Browning Safari in 375 H&H Magnum. Being a 1964 rifle, there are absolutely no salt wood issues and it possesses the coveted long extractor, controlled round feed action. The rifle is in original condition with original Browning recoil pad. No rebluing or stock refinishing. I am not an expert, but the stock is in excellent condition with only minor dents and scuffs. The bluing is likewise in excellent condition with the exception of some flaking on the right side of the muzzle over a length of roughly 1 1/2" (see photo). This was the condition I bought the rifle in years ago. There has been no progression with no rust or oxidation occurring in the underlying metal. Apart from this exception, I believe you will find this rifle in great condition given its 56 years of age. Will ship in hard case for $70.
