Westley Richards “Monkey Tail Carbine” .450 caliber rifle. Lock dated “1862”. Bore is excellent. Barrel and breech block have 95% blue. Action works perfectly. Forward barrel band has the bayonet lug (sorry, no bayonet). Stock is excellent with the store keepers markings “FA 1881” and “FA 1886”. This is the best condition Westley Richards Monkey Tail we have owned! Stock edges are sharp, no chips no cracks no rounded edges!
