Description:
A Remington Rolling Block bayonet for the 7mm, 1914 French contract rifle. The left side of the blade is stamped ”REMINGTON ARMS-UNION METALLIC CTG. CO. REM. WORKS, ILION, N.Y. U.S.A.”. It still retains its metal scabbard and a small portion of its leather frog. The grips appear to be walnut. Caliber: 7mm cartridge
Overall Length in Scabbard: 21.5"
Blade Length: 15.9"
Condition: Blade shows some staining and very minor scattered pitting – Grips are good with some nicks and marks – Scabbard has 2 small dents – Frog loop is cut off, just above the scabbard throat, and missing – Release button functions as it should.
