I love this little carbine. But I've got my eye on something else, and I can't have them all. Very, very nice little SRC, made in 1926. Receiver is patina'ed, as most are, because the metal used did not take blue well. Traces of the original blue can be seen around the lever and around the saddle ring stud. Smooth action, mint bore, nice screws. Stock has not been sanded. Look at the blue on the barrel and mag tube. Got to be 85%, maybe 90. Buttplate fits perfectly. Superb example of this rifle, just the way I like them. This little guy is just as ready to shoot as it was when it was brand new almost 100 years ago. I'll be sad to see it go..... but it will. In order to protect your investment, all long guns over $500 must be shipped in a hard case. Minimum shipping at this level is $55 and includes the hard case. Shipping cost could increase depending on value or weight of the firearm. For long guns less than $500, we still recommend the purchase of a hard case, again to protect your investment. These numbers are for shipping to the lower 48. There is also a 3% surcharge for customers using a credit card on internet sales.
