Description:
A U.S. Navy deep sea diving knife. The double edged blade has serrations on one side of the spearpoint shaped blade. The handle is ribbed hardwood and the scabbard is very heavy brass. The scabbard is stamped “MFG’D BY MORSE DIVING EQUIP. CO. INC. // BOSTON, MASS. U.S.A.” at the top, near the throat. This knife and scabbard weighs almost 3 pounds.

Condition: Excellent – Blade retains almost all of the original mirror polish – Brass has a nice age patina – Wood has no damage – Markings are deep and clear with the exception of the word “Boston” which apparently was not stamped as deep – Threads are in excellent condition
