Swiss Bern 1906/24 Luger, arsenal reworked with 1929 type sideplate, correct magazine, and earlier holster with added pouch dated “23”. SN: 29342. Cal. 7.65mmLuger. Standard configuration M1924 with 4.75” barrel having drift adjustable fire blued front sight and fixed “V” notch rear sight. Blank chamber. Middle link with WAFFENFABRIK BERN. Inspection marking on left side of receiver. “P” release on front of trigger guard. Full serial number under barrel and forward frame with the last two-three digits under the sideplate, trigger, barrel extension, and on all three components of the toggle, and each of the grips. Scattered Swiss crosses in usual locations. Major components are refurbished to have a salt blue. Strawed takedown lever, trigger, magazine release button, ejector and safety lever. Correct magazine with tinned body and matching walnut plug “42”. Complete with earlier holster, made with a spare magazine pouch, manufacturer marked and dated “23” on obverse surface.

Condition: At least 95% arsenal reworked blue with slight plum toning of middle and rear toggle link. Sharp edge wear in usual locations as befitting a pistol that has seen moderate service. Small parts with richly tempered strawing. Comparable condition front and backstraps, and grips. Near excellent magazine. Mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. VG+ holster with supple leather and intact, original stitching. A very attractive Swiss 1906/24 Bern, all matching, with usual arsenal reworked features, including a M1929 design sideplate.
