Description:
A pair of very high quality, brass mounted, wheellock pistol copies. Both guns have brass barrels, locks, mountings, and inlays. Each butt cap depicts a grotesque devil’s head. The wooden ramrods are brass tipped. The brass trigger guards and locks are hand engraved. They are possibly made by George Terry, but we are not sure, as they appear to be much older, than his time.
Caliber: Approximately .57
Overall Lengths: 23.25" each
Barrel Lengths: 14.8" each
Condition: Brass is a medium mustard color age patina – Iron parts are a light grey with some staining – Wood is very good with minor nicks and a couple of loses at the remrod channels – Have not tested the actions
