Washington Arms Co. Pepperbox 6 Shot Percussion Cast Steel 1800`S 35 Caliber
THIS IS A PEPPERBOX PISTOL FROM THE 1800`S. Very nicely engraved. The cylinder is marked "CAST STEEL" and the hammer is marked " WASHINGTON ARMS CO." But looks to be a Allen and Thurber Co. gun. The trigger is marked with a 61. T have not tried to fire this gun but seems to function but the action parts do have some surface rust an would function much better when cleaned up. This is an antique and I am selling as a Collectors Item only and should be checked by a gunsmith prior to firing. Please see all of the pictures as they show the true condition of the gun.
