Winchesters Model of 1876 Lever Action Sporting Rifle .45-60wcf 28 inch factory Octagon Barrel. The serial number of this example is 5746X placing date of manufacture in 1885. Overall condition is excellent with this 76 retaining a solid 85-90% original untouched factory rust blue. The bore is near perfect with strong rifling and shine from breech to muzzle. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. Wood to metal fit is perfect, no damage observed, 90% original factory varnish remains. Great Collector.
