Danish Model 1889 Krag 8x58mmR Made in 1892. 33” Round barrel with outer sleeve. The sleeve is tinned, possible Naval use. Fine bore. Barrel has approximately 90% tin plate with the remainder of the metal being a smooth blue/brown patina. Stock is very good with no cracks or chips. The magazine latch is a replacement. Stock has a brass disk with “10R” over “4875”, right-side of butt. The serial numbers are matching. The stacking and sling swivels are present. This model 1889 was made in Copenhagen in 1892, two years prior to the first U.S. Krag.
