Description:
Early Ithaca (NID) Model 5E Single Barrel Trap chambered in 12 gauge. These elaborately engraved trap models were custom made to order from 1925-1986 and featured a vent rib barrel in 30", 32", or 34" length, checkered pistol grip and forearm, and high grade wood and engraving. This shotgun was produced in 1927 with a 30" full choke (.035") barrel, 14-1/4" length of pull and remains in excellent original condition. The receiver retains 98% of its original case colors as does the blue finish on the barrel. The exibition grade wood is also in excellent original condition with just a few handling marks present. For being made in 1927, this shotgun has survived in marvelous condition, and I doudt there are many this good of the same vintage.
