Description:
This very early-production .22 caliber Volquartsen LLV competition target pistol, the 233rd made. This pistol was top-of-the-line when it was new, and the superb perfomance of these LLV's are what helped build the Volquartsen firm into what it is today. This pistol has been used but not abused, and show numerous minor handling marks and light wear but is still handsome. These LLV's are both fully-built with superb target triggers and Volquartsen factory "Custom" adjustable sights. The gun is fit with a set of Hogue black rubber target grips with a right-handed thumb shelf. The gun has a perfect bright bore with strong rifling and are in excellent mechanical condition. The action on this pistol is very slick, and all of the controls are in perfect working order. As you can see from the pictures, these LLV's have integral pic rails on the top of the receiver for optics and the iron sights are easily removable. Each pistol weighs 2 lbs 10 ounces unloaded. Both Volquartsen's come with one 10-round Ruger magazine. We have no doubt that these pistols are both supremely accurate and very reliable, as all Volquartsen's are known to be.
