Description:
This is a US marked gun. Also on the lock is "1852". 54 caliber smooth bore with 8-1/2 inch barrel. Swivel ram rod. The barrel is cleaned and mostly silver. It has not been overcleaned as it still has the barrel and lock plate markings. The rest of the furniture is brass. All metal is nice overall condition. Bore is shiny and looks pretty good with just some light pitting. VG for an old percussion pistol. Nice stout hammer spring. Very well built percussion pistol.
