Very rare Colt Pocket Navy revolver in its original percussion configuration. This is a
.36 caliber, 5 shot revolver with rebated cylinder with stagecoach holdup scene. All matching serial numbers, #14256, including wedge, made in 1862 per Colt serial lookup.
Octagon 4 1/2 inch barrel with single
line address. Grips are very good, some original finish on frame, brass has mellow patina. Mechanically operates correctly. Inspector mark on trigger guard. Cylinder has a series of small dings, see picture. A pocket Colt
which packed a punch! Asking $2100 shipped.
