Winchester Model of 1876 Sporting Rifle Second Model .45-60 with Mid Range Vernier Tang Sight and Rocky Mountain front sight with brass blade. The serial number of this example is 17551 placing date of manufacture in 1881. This Rifle has a 28 inch Round Barrel with a near perfect bore. The bore will rate a 9.5 on a 1 to 10 scale. The bore is bright and shiny from breech too muzzle. This Rifle has retained 85% + original untouched factory blue. The Brass Follower is untouched with a very nice even mustard / marbled patina.
