Export Production Model/London stamped Colt Model 1862 Pocket Navy fitted with a 5 1/2 inch octagon barrel, 5-shot rebated cylinder, steel trigger guard and back strap, one piece walnut grips, blue/color case-hardened finished, and chambered .36 Cal. percussion. The gun is in good original condition, retaining 10% of its original blue finish and none of its original color case-hardened finishes, with overall gun having turned a grey patina. All British proof stamping are sharp as is some of the roll stamped cylinder scene. The grips fit well and retain 85% of their finish, with no cracks or chips It is all numbers matching, including the wedge. The bore is shootable, with good rifling, but there is corrosion throughout. The action works but does not lock in time on two cylinders. A decent example of its type.
