*I will preface all of this with we are not Luger experts, if we are wrong please let us know*
DWM 1920 Commercial Rework in excellent condition! 7.65x 21 Parabellum (.30 Luger). In the 20's DWM was taking military issued Lugers and refinishing them and offering them for sale commercially. This one has the shorter-than-4" barrel which i believe is either a 3 7/8" or 3 5/8" depending on where you're measuring from and which source claims the expertise! I have included some pics of a measuring tape against the barrel. It looks to me that parts a matching with a 23 on most everything with a 2-digit number. The Serial is 8023 with what looks to be a stylized either "h" or "k", please see pics for details. No grip safety but this does have the cut backstrap for the butt attachment.
This Luger is in excellent shape and we can't tell if its originally how this came from DWM after the rework or it was refinished since. Either way it shows very well and is likely a cool little shooter. We do not guarantee it's function since we haven't fired it. This comes with 1 original, unmarked wood-bottomed magazine and a holster marked 1944 P38. The holster is a little rough and the closure tab is hanging on by literally a thread.
