GEM ADORNED Late-18th / Early 19th Century Pistol
Here we present an antique Ornate Flintlock Belt Pistol, made circa the end of the 18th century. This is a full-sized pistol in .675 caliber that was fit for a battle as well as a status symbol. This pistol features intricate engraving on the barrel with ornate cast hardware such as the pommel cap, trigger guard, and other décor. The lock is nicely engraved as well. The stock is adorned with sculpted metal and the top is set with colored gemstones: two green and one purple. This is a stunning pistol that one can imagine the likes of a pirate or local warlord wearing in their belt.
The overall condition is very good. The action is strong and tight. The bore is smooth and gray. The stock is solid and in great shape. It is difficult to find a metal surface that is not engraved. The engravings are elaborate and finely detailed. An exquisite piece of history!
