Description:

Pair of English Tap Action Over/Under Barrels Flintlock Pistols by Galton. Samuel Galton is listed as a gunmaker, Steelhouse Lane, Birmington, Al. Also as Gaston and Son 1799-1818. Barrels are 3” long and pistols are 8” length overall. Bores are approximately .50 caliber. Each pistol has a panoply of arms with the Galton name in script on the reverse side. Actions work perfectly. Stocks are excellent with unmarked silver roundels. Pistols have sliding safeties. Overall condition is very good plus. Fine pair of well-made pistols!
