Winchester Model of 1876 Lever Action Sporting Rifle .45/60wcf. 28 inch Factory Octagon Barrel and Case Hardened Receiver. The serial number of this example is 3298X placing date of manufacture in 1883. Overall condition is vey good with most finish toned to a nice even patina. The bore is dark and I can see the rifling is present. There is a lot of fouling as expected, needs a good scrubbing with Hope's #9. The receivers Case Colors have faded or "silvered out".
