Description: This .22 caliber Marlin Model 97 lever action rifle was made between 1897 and 1917 and has a 24” blued tapered octagon barrel that is in good condition. The bore has scattered pitting throughout. The front sight is a fixed bead and the rear sight is elevation adjustable. The blued magazine tube is in good condition. The color case hardened receiver is in good condition with the exception of some light finish wear. The Walnut buttstock featuring the original synthetic buttplate and forend are in good condition with the exception of some light scratches and usage dents.
