Wendell Grangaard identified and attributed to Sleeping Rabbit. The identification and interpretation of the marking are the work and opinion of Mr Grangaard. Bio of Sleeping Rabbit indicates he was a member of the Crazy Dog society, participating in many battles of the era and having fought with Crazy Horse at Rosebud Sleeping Rabbit was a Northern Cheyenne. The Bio and Tioga interpretation are included with purchase of the revolver and make an interesting read. The gun is in overall good condition it exhibits period engraving , the revolver is missing the main spring but operators correctly otherwise. 7 shot 32 cal. Antique
