Winchester Model 1895 lever action rifle with a 24 inch octagonal heavy barrel that has a very good bore. This rifle is chambered in .30 US Model 1903 (.30-03). This caliber replaced the .30-40 Krag in the Model 1895 for a short period until the .30-06 cartrige was developed. The stock and forend on this rifle are highly figured walnut in perfect condition. The receiver and barrel are in very good condition having been professionally reblued sometime in the past.
