Description:
Up for your consideration is a beautiful Belgian made Lefaucheux M1858 pinfire single action revolver manufactured in the 1860's. These revolvers were primarily used by the French military, and also sold to civilians in single action and double action configuration. This particular M1858 is a single action model, most likely issued to the French military during that time. Markings are crisp, and overall condition is very good for a 140+ year old gun. Some thinning of the original finish and light petina on the barrel are to be expected, and the bore has great rifling with only minor frosting. Mechanical functions seem to work very well, with lockup on time and a smooth single action. Feel free to contact us with any questions!
