US Springfield Model 1903 .30-06 Springfield bolt action rifle, manufactured in 1917. This rifle features the classic Mauser-type bolt action mechanism that this rifle is famous for, and a patina'd blue finish, with factory iron sights. The rifle has been sporterized, with a cut-down stock that is more catered to a hunting application. ***Please note the following important information***; According to several sources, 1903 rifles made prior to the 800,000 serial number mark may not have a proper heat treatment on the receiver, and it is strongly recommended that a professional gunsmith inspect this rifle prior to an attempt to fire it.
