Description:
Here is the holy grail of all Pythons. This is a Presidents Edition made for Colt President Gary French. This is the only known factory engraved 3'' Python ever to leave Colt. It was designed by Cuttom Shop managed Al DeJohn and it was a collaboration of two Colt master engravers Steve Kamyk and Alvin White. Additionally it is gold banded at the muzzle and the back of the cylinder. It has a gold ribbon motif inscribed ''COLT PRESIDENTS EDITION'' on the left sideplate and a gold inlaid Rampant Colt on the right side of the frame. This revolver is new in the original box numbered to the gun along with the factory display case and a Cot archive letter to authenticate it. This is a collector grade gun that has been coveted since new. The only imperfection is a few fine hairlines on the top strap just in front of the rear sight. None of them penetrate the finish and they are so minor tthey would not show up in the photos. I mention them because of the value of the gun. Everything else on the gun is literally flawless. The grips remain in perfect condition as well. It is also worth mentioning that this is the cover gun on the Thirty Eighth Edition Bllue Book of Gun Values which is also included. This is a gun which will never be upgraded in even the most advanced collection.
