Description:
Colt Presidents Edition factory engraved Detective Special made for Colt President Gary French. This was designed by Colt Custom Shop Manager Al DeJohn and executed by Colt master engravers Steve Kamyk and Alvin White. The front of the barrel is gold banded. The sideplate has a gold inlaid ribbon motif inscribed ''COLTS PRESIDENTS EDITION'' and a gold inlaid Rampant Colt on the right side of the frame. This revolver is new in the original box numbered to the gun with the factory display case and the Colt archive letter to authenticate it. This is a collector grade gun that is without excusses. Both the finish and grips are as good as it gets. This is a gun that will be on the top shelf of even the most advanced collection.
