Description:
This is a prototype that never materialized. It is a variation of the Detective Special (Lady Colt). There are lots of unique and special features on this revolver. It is hard chromed. It is also bright polished. Hard chrome is the rarest of all finishes and additionally it is the only on I have ever seen that was bright polished. The sideplate is factory engraved with the Rampant Colt intertwined with the letters CL. The barrel is engraved "Lady Colt". The bobbed hammer and trigger are fire blued. This is a collector grade gun. The finish is exceptional throughout with only the very slightest of handling. The factory Pachmayr grips have been replaced with a stunning set of mother of pearl grips. This is a beautiful and unique one of one revolver that will be on the top shelf of even the most advanced collection.
