We have had amazing success in sales through "GUNS INTERNATIONAL". This is the only site we use for Internet sales and highly recommend these associates. We as sellers have choices, and for our money there is none better that "GUNS INTERNATIONAL". Description: This is an excellent, all original, Early Nazi era Sneak Luger that was produced in the 1929-33 time frame. These are typically termed Sneak Lugers based on the lack of any identifying manufactures markings and proofmarks, which the Nazis did to disguise their early rearmament efforts. This example has the correct blank chamber, but still retains the DWM marked front toggle assembly. The right side of the barrel extension has the early single "WaA66" Waffenamt proof indicating rework at the Mauser factory in 1929/30 along with the single "Crown/N" commercial proof on the left side, which is also duplicated on the breechblock and underside of the barrel. It has the standard extractor and safety markings along with the sear safety & magazine safety features. It has checkered walnut grips, and the magazine is marked 3-32 with a burst “K”. The front of the grip straps are also marked L.Hi.32 which corresponds with the magazine. FYI, on September 12, 2012 Rock Island sold one of these "sneak Lugers" (Lot 1552) with a holster and extra magazine for $8625 plus a buyer's premium of 18.5%! The condition is upper 90% of the original blue finish overall with wear on the edges and high spots. The grips on both sides showing even honest wear across the tops of the checkering. The pistol itself has all matching numbers and grips and firing pin are correctly unnumbered. This is a rare one and they are seldom encountered especially in this top shelf condition.
