Description:
22 caliber. Octagon barrel. Nice condition gun with 70-80% blue remaining on the receiver and 80%+ on the barrel. Upper and lower tang have turned a bit. Wood is nice fitting and in overall VG condition. There is a chip on the hard rubber buttplate right at the toe. Forearm is nice condition but has a well done repair on the bottom. These 22's had a fragile slide handle. Action works well. Bore is dark and needs a good cleaning. Nice little Colt. The 22 Cal Lightning rifles will take all Long or all Short .22 cartridges, or part Long and part Short. Not Long Rifle cartridges.
