Winchester Riot Shotgun Model 1897 produced in 1921.
Excellent plus condition( almost mint) with almost no wear on metal, original finish, all matching, no rust or pitting on metal, no cracks on wood, great bore, functions fine.
It features a single-bead shotgun front sight. The barrel has the standard Winchester two-line address and patent markings on the left side, and is marked "CYL". Marked "MODEL 1897/-WINCHESTER-/TRADEMARK REG.IN U.S.PAT.OFF." in three lines on the slide arm. Winchester oval proof mark is stamped on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Mounted with an 18-groove walnut forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with a checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate.
