Description:
The last of the Winchester custom shop 70s Guarenteed by the factory to shoot .5 MOA at 100 yrds. Yes it does and I'll also assure you that my best group at 300 yrds. was 1.89. Although serial numbers reflect a 1988 reciever (G152211) The custom shop did not do the build on this fine rifle until late 1994. A Schneider #8 straight heavy stainless barrel with proprietary crown, 6 lands, 6 grove matched to a hand tuned reciever. Claw feed hand honed, hand lapped and trued Mauser style boltwhich makes for an extremely smooth feed. Hand tuned trigger with no take up breaks like the snap of glass at exactly 3 lbs.. Extended tang fitted into a HS Precision Kevlar, Carbon Fiber and glass pistol grib stock which is also very ambidextrous. Winchester 3 position safety and heavy stainless button release steel florplate. Twin sling screws forward on the beaver tail foreend which allows for easy install of bi pod, single mount screw in rear forward of pacmar style Butt.
Optics- Leuopold Vari X III 6.5 X 20 X 50 Long Range w/ Diopler allows this 308 to produce the advertised groups with the proper ammo.
