Description:
Remington No 5 Roll Block 7mm caliber rifle. Military rifle. 30” Round barrel marked “Cal. 7 m.m.”. with a fine bore with frosting in the grooves. Barrel retains most of its blue. Receiver has a smooth blue/brown patina and the remaining parts have a smooth brown patina. Stocks are very good, no crack or chips Butt stock has two stars (left and right) scribed in it and the left-side has several scribed initials as well. Action functions properly. This early No 5 military rifles, circa 1897-1900, has the military ladder sight, two swivels and cleaning rod.
