This is a 58 Cal; good bore, good stock, 39" barrel, Miller conversion US M1861 rifled musket. Block is marked, W.H.&G.W. MILLER/Patent May 23,1865/Meriden Manfg Co/Meriden, Conn. Has a standard three leaf Springfield rear sight, the hammer plate stamped US with an eagle, the date 1864 and the manufacturer, steel butt plate stamped US, includes metal ramrod. Barrel length 39 inches with a bright bore and light pitting. Overall length 56-inches. .58 Rimfire
