Winchesters Model of 1876 Lever Action Sporting Rifle .40/60wcf. 28 inch factory octagon Barrel. The serial number of this example is 4329 placing date of manufacture in 1878. Overall condition is very good with the original untouched finish toned to a very nice even blue / plum patina. The bore is above average with strong rifling and shine. The bore will rate a 7 on a 1 to 10 scale. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect. Wood to metal fit is very goos, I suspect the Butt Stock may be a replacement, not sure?
