Outstanding Bausch & Lomb Balfor 4x rifle scope with plunger mounts that fit Pre 64 Winchester 70. Near new condition throughout with a few scratches on underside. Internals are spotless with clear and unscratched glass. Standard cross wire reticle. Scope tube and bases are aluminum, rings and other components are steel. The Rochester NY made Bausch & Lomb products from this era were of supreme quality and on a par with the finest optics in the world. The mounting system is ingenius with all adjustments performed on the base itself, while the scope can be plunged in and out of the mount as required with no loss of zero. This is a fabulous and complete set up that is miles above anything you can buy today for the same price. Includes the original box and literature!
