SCARCE 1 of 4,000 with Matching Numbered Shoulder Stock!
Here we present a Stevens Hunter’s Pet No. 34 Pocket Rifle with matching numbered shoulder stock. This is a tip-up barrel, single shot rifle in .32 rimfire. It makes for a fantastic plinker and utility gun. The Hunter’s Pet was made from 1872 through the end of the century with a total amount of only 4,000! Not only is this a scarce gun, but it still has the same number shoulder stock that it was originally made with.
Heavy octagonal barrel. The rear sight is a flip-up design with a slider. The front sight is a bead on a fine post within a protective hood.
The overall condition is fine. Great blue and nickel finish. The action is strong. The bore is good and sharp rifling remains. A unique piece from the early-20th century!
