.50-70 caliber, 22" barrel with 3 groove rifling. Casehardened falling block action with crisp stampings. Walnut forend and straight grip buttstock bearing the U.S. inspector's cartouche at the wrist and the DFC in a banner at mid-stock on the left side. The barrel retaining much of the blue, nice case colors fading in spots. Excellent wood and cartouches. Great bore
