I am offering a S&W Model 24-5 44 special from my personal collection. My understanding is that the S&W Performance Center manufactured the 24-5 as part of a limited run (somewhere around 150 of the configuration offered give or take) for the distributor Lou Horton. The run as a whole was made up of a select number of S&W models and was named the "Heritage Series." This was my first Performance Center gun. I have concluded that those folks do fine work and shoot revolvers. I really appreciate the solid mechanics, comfortable feel, early-to-mid 1900s vintage hand ejector look, and high polish finish. The revolver comes with its original numbered box, paper work, and lock. Please contact me by email through GI with questions, or if you would like to pick a time to talk by phone. I will 3-day ship from my local 01 FFL dealer to the buyer's 01 FFL holder as required by law for handguns once I have received payment from the buyer, and a signed transfer copy of the 01 FFL from the holder representing the buyer. I have really enjoyed my time with this S&W, and want the buyer to have a positive experience. If the buyer decides to return the revolver within the 3-day inspection period, however; the buyer is responsible for return shipping with insurance.
