Description:
J.P. Clabrough & Bro. operated two retail stores, one located in Birmingham, England and the other in San Francisco, Ca, both belonged to the same family. The English store operated from 1719 to 1937 while the California store operated from 1867 to 1957. All the shotguns sold were made in England. This particular gun is side-lever locking system. It has a very low number which rather means that it was made in early Birmingham period. Very good condition, bright bores, beautiful laminated barrels, tight. LOP=13 3/4”, Barrels 30”, chambers 2 3/4.
