Description:
Limited Edition "F" Series cap & ball revolver, only 1853 mfg. 1980-1981. Serial number, No. 1589. 44 caliber. 9" round barrell with octagon shank has gold plated banner on left side marked "Colt Heritage Commemortive". Right barrel flat has gold plated portraits of Samuel Walker and Samuel Colt. Round 6 shot cylinder has Texas Ranger & Indian scene roll engraving. Square back brass trigger guard. 1 peice walnut grip has cartouches on both panels. Housed in it's original French fit walnut presentation case with removable book shelf holding a matching numbered copy of R. L. Wilson's Book "The Colt Heritage." Paper work includes, instruction manuel, Colt black Powder Series pamphlets & Colt companion brochure. Revolver appears unfired retaining nearly all original finsh. Presentation case shows an opening seam in case lid & handling marks. Priority mail $25.00
