Description:
This is a very early Winchester Model 1890 FIRST MODEL SOLID FRAME with concealed locking lugs. The finish has turned to a plum-brown patina and the gun is a 22 short with a very good bright bore. This is an antique and no paper-work is required. There were not that many first models made and they are every hard to find. This is priced to sell. The wood is solid with no cracks and very few dings and scrathes. Please use the ZOOM feature to make your own evaluation as to condition. This gun is serial numbered to 1893, the same year the 2nd model was introduced, so this would be a very late 1st model.
